Synopsis:

Road To Maquis is a provocative documentary about commitment, politics and power. It explores the notion that all people around the world share accountability for global events. Mitch Kitter, a cutting edge photographer, sets out to shoot the most daring photo-essay of his career to date, despite backlash and controversy about the content. Committed to telling this story and betting this show will launch his artistic career to the next level, he’s determined to overcome funding shortfalls, logistical problems and his own fear of success. Road To Maquis chronicles the tumultuous journey leading up to the shoot, the battle to bring the show to fruition and whether Mitch receives the critical acclaim he set out to achieve.

MAQUIS:  The year is 2015.  World War III has killed over 310 million US citizens, almost the entire adult male population. Now the women, children and elderly are left to fend for themselves. Russia, with its oil reserves depleted from the war, moves to invade Alaska for its rich oil fields.
